Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Nanda & Associate Lawyers
A Team That Reflects Our Communities
Diversity makes us stronger, and inclusion helps us succeed together.
Today, over 60% of our workforce is women, representing leadership roles in law, administration, and client service.
Our team speaks more than a dozen languages and brings a wealth of cultural perspectives to every case, allowing us to serve clients from all walks of life with empathy and understanding.
Our lawyers and staff come from a wide range of countries and communities — a reflection of the diverse fabric of Ontario itself. That diversity isn’t just demographic; it shines through in the sharing of ideas, perspectives, and problem-solving approaches that drive our firm forward.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusivity
At Nanda & Associate Lawyers, we believe that diversity is not just a value; it’s our foundation.
Since our establishment in year 2003, our Firm has been a reflection of the multilingual, multicultural and diverse clientele across Ontario.
We are proud to have built a workplace where people of all backgrounds, faiths, and experiences feel respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Equity in Action
Our commitment to equity extends beyond words. We frequently evaluate our internal policies to ensure that fair opportunities apply in recruitment, pay, leadership development, and professional growth.
Mentorship, collaboration, and continuing education are integral to how we work, in ensuring that every team member has access to the tools, guidance, and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.
We also foster a culture of open communication where feedback is welcomed and every voice is valued.
Inclusion Beyond Our Walls
At Nanda & Associate Lawyers, inclusion extends beyond our workplace, to the communities we serve, and charitable initiatives over the years.
One of the highlights of our community engagement is our participation in the William Osler Health System Foundation’s Annual Holi Gala – Festival of Colours.
This vibrant event brings together hundreds of guests from across the Greater Toronto Area to celebrate unity through diversity, while raising critical funds for local hospitals. The 12th Annual Holi Gala, held in Brampton, raised over $1.24 million to support the transformation of Peel Memorial into Brampton’s new hospital and the expansion of cancer care services at Brampton Civic Hospital, as well as to contribute vital equipment upgrades at Etobicoke General Hospital.
We are proud to have participated in this important initiative, supporting access to better healthcare and improved services for families in the communities we serve.
Beyond the Holi Gala, our firm also participates in fundraisers, donation drives, and other community initiatives that promote inclusion, health, and togetherness.
Through these efforts, we aim to give back to the communities that inspire and sustain us during the year, by promoting inclusivity not just as a policy, but as a daily practice rooted in respect and empathy.
