Our History
Nanda & Associate Lawyers began with a simple vision: to build a law firm where clients are treated like human beings, not file numbers in a cabinet. Compassion, attention to detail, understanding, professionalism and ability to address clients’ issues efficiently and cost-effectively were the major core values of the Firm then, and remain so to date.
Founded by Jagmohan S. Nanda in Mississauga, Ontario, the Firm began operations in year 2003, with a primary focus on immigration law and real estate. The Firm assisted newcomers to Canada, as well as families and small businesses established here for several generations. We approached every case diligently and accorded it the importance and attentive care we remain known for today. We were as accessible then, as we remain today. You can reach us via telephone, e-mail, in person, and on video via Zoom or Office Teams.
From the very beginning, our mission was clear: to provide legal guidance that is honest, human-centric, and solutions-focused, while removing barriers to accessing justice and simplifying legal terminology and procedure.
What began as a single-practitioner office quickly grew into a multi-practice Firm, through client referrals, community trust, and strong professional relationships. As client needs evolved, so did our services. We gradually expanded into family law, litigation, corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and personal injury—becoming a full-service law firm with a diverse team of experienced lawyers.
Our strength today lies in our multi-lingual team of legal professionals who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. While we continue to grow, one thing remains unchanged—our commitment to making legal services more personal, transparent, and client-focused.
