Study Permit

International students require a Student Visa to study in Canada. Under certain conditions, students are also allowed to work a fixed number of hours On/Off-campus. Post-graduate students are allowed to stay and work for a period of 3 years. Some provinces let students and graduates apply under the Canadian Experience Class to obtain a Permanent Residency.

There are certain requirements that international students must meet in order to obtain a Student Visa:

• Have a valid Letter of Acceptance from a Canadian educational institution
• Have proof of sufficient funds to pay for their tuition and living expenses while studying
